Project Approved by Kickstarter to Request Funding

Wow, our book project featuring Grumbly Bear and Rhyming Cow was approved by Kickstarter.com to be included on their website for a run at funding.  We have begun the process of creating a convincing proposal via an online video / movie and presentation to show the backers what this great story is all about.  Stay tuned as we go through the video making part of this project!

The First Story Introducing Grumbly Bear & Rhyming Cow

“Tears are running down Rhyming Cow’s face!” Grumbly Bear worried. In a split second, the confused bear quietly replayed this morning’s events in his head as he looked at the ground.

Grumbly Bear thought, “First, I ate a breakfast of berries and bread. I put on my jacket and cap and closed the door of my house and went on my way to visit Rhyming Cow. Grumbly Bear remembered being disappointed while he walked along. He noticed the white snow was melting and the water was making a crashing sound as it passed over the rocks in the stream. “I don’t know why water has to run so fast?” questioned the cranky bear, “I liked the peace and quite of snow and ice.”

The next thing Grumbly Bear recalled was his walk on the trail through the woods. He always kept to the trail and never strayed into the bushes or thicket. The dormant tree branches along the side of the path had given way to waxy green leaves and a pink dotting of new buds. Grumbly Bear frowned, “I liked the bare grey branches better then these green leafy ones and I don’t like those messy cherry blossoms.” Getting more frustrated with the sights around him, Grumbly Bear huffed and continued onward.

****the continuation of this story, and the balance of the other stories, are in our manuscript which is being submitted for final editing.

Time to Fly with Grumbly Bear and Rhyming Cow

We have embarked on another wonderful project, helping our son publish an inaugural children's book titled, Grumbly Bear Wakes Up, featuring Grumbly Bear and Rhyming Cow. The draft is complete and we are in the manuscript editing process. As he searches for professional editors, a parallel path will be pursued to seek out an Illustrator for cover illustrations and limited page positions. The last step will be to publish the finished product on Smashbook.com and make it available as an Ebook. With hard work and little luck, you will have a great story book for kids and adults worldwide.

Thanks for your interest and support.
